A sunny day

Winter's beauty is starting to slip away thanks to sunny weather and warmer temperatures in the region. Still, placid scenes like this one on a recent afternoon near Guys Mills will remain for a time. (Posted: March 8)

 

Baby deer saved by family after auto accident

A baby deer, who later became known as Bucky, was found alongside the road when his mother was struck by a truck. A passerby delivered the baby from his dead mother and took him home to raise him until he could be reintroduced into the wild.

A winter jog

Goodall chimp film at Presque Isle
