Edinboro athletes are hitting the practice court and field in preparation for the fall season, which starts at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, for the volleyball team at the Falcon Crest Tournament at Fairmont (W.Va.) Fighting Scots set to kick off fall sports seasons
Fall may be the most exciting time for sports at Edinboro University, and Sports Information Director Bob Shreve knows that students and locals alike are passionate when it comes to the Fighting Scots. And the football, soccer, volleyball and cross country teams are ready to go.

Sometimes blocking the other team is an eyes-closed kind of thing, especially when that foot and ball come so-o-o close like here in the opening weekend of the PA West Soccer Tournament at Edinboro University. More than 320 teams were slated to play in the tournament, which rolled back into town for its final weekend Friday to Sunday, June 25-27. (Posted: June 25) |
