PEA 2005 Conference at
This year's conference is dedicated to the life and memory of Dr. Derrick Gondwe, long-time friend, supporter and leader of the Pennsylvania Economic Association. June 2 (Thursday)
- June 4 (Saturday), 2005 Call for papers & posters
The PEA 2005 Conference will again host professional papers in its concurrent sessions. The conference also will allow students (undergraduate and graduate) the opportunity to present research papers in concurrent sessions, or present their research in a poster board format. A special student poster session will be scheduled for the display and discussion of student research posters. Requirements and guidelines for posters may be reviewed here.

FEATURE SPEAKERSFriday Luncheon: Mr. Scott Sheely Executive Director, Lancaster County Workforce Investment Board Topic: Mr. Sheely will discuss the success of the Workforce Investment Board in securing state and federal funding to examine industrial development trends and the consequences for labor markets in Lancaster County and in several other counties in the state. Friday Panel Discussion (Federal Reserve Bank) The panel discussion will be followed by the reception hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank in the McCmsey Hall Lobby. Friday Dinner: Dr. Peter von Allmen Moravian College Topic: "What's in a game? Professional Sports Markets as a vehicle for understanding economic concepts."
About Millersville University
Dorm Rooms: A single dorm room (no linens) $22.00. A double dorm room (no linens)
$28.00. A separate linen fee of $7.30 per stay can be added to your stay, but
does not include pillow.
Hotel: The
Inn at Millersville will be host to the guests at the 2005 conference.
Per night room rates are $81 for a
