![]() Pennsylvania Economic ReviewThe Pennsylvania Economic Review, a publication of the Pennsylvania Economic Association (PEA), publishes scholarly articles and book reviews submitted from anywhere in the world and in all economic areas. The PER also welcomes submissions containing an analysis of the Pennsylvania economy. It encourages members of the Pennsylvania Economic Association who present papers at the Association s Annual Conferences to submit their papers for possible publication. Referees evaluate articles that authors submit for possible publication. The editors, assisted by the recommendations of the referees and the editorial board, accept or reject an article for publication. The Pennsylvania Economic Review is featured in Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities in Economics & Finance and articles are listed in the EBSCO database with full text reference. SubscriptionThe Pennsylvania Economic Review is a biannual, refereed journal sponsored by the Pennsylvania Economic Association. The subscription fee for institutions and non-members is $25 per year. Association members receive a journal subscription without additional cost. Subscription requests should be sent to the journal co-editors: Thomas Tolin and Orhan Kara, Co-Editors, Pennsylvania Economic Review, 309 Anderson Hall, West Chester University, West Chester, PA 19383. Please provide a complete mailing address for your subscription and include a check payable to the Pennsylvania Economic Association. Subscription rates are as follows.
Style and Submission Instructions for AuthorsInitial submissions must be made in triplicate with a cover letter indicating that the manuscript is not currently being considered at another publication. Also include a complete electronic copy of the paper in MS Word or as a PDF file on CD, or email the file to the Editor. If a PDF file is sent, remove any author identifying information from the file. The submission fee is $25 for nonmembers or $10 for PEA members. Email: Editors Papers should have a cover page with the author's name, address, and affiliation. The second page should have centered in all caps and bolded the paper title, double space, and in upper and lower case include the author's name followed by affiliation. Triple space and include a 50-100 word abstract. The paper itself should be typed in Times New Roman 10 point. Do not number the pages electronically but instead write them in pencil on the back of each page (if submitting hard-copy). All margins should be 1.7 inches.
